The SnoCountry Snapshot brought us to Q. Burke Mountain Resort in Vermont, home to Burke Mountain Academy. This racing program is one of the best in the world, and is responsible for producing Olympic athletes on the regular – most recently, Mikaela Shiffrin. Here is a look into our visit.
Ski resorts are more than just skiing. Here at Telluride Resort in southwest Colorado, they’re serving up warm and soothing tomato bisque, gooey grilled cheese sandwiches, and bold wines at mountaintop restaurant Alpino Vino.
Warning: Do not watch on an empty stomach. You’ll regret it.
We made it out to Crested Butte, Colorado right before New Year’s Eve. The Butte has been getting great snow this season, with over 3 feet falling in just under two weeks. After the mountain, we head downtown to Secret Stash Pizza where the flavor combinations will keep you guessing and hungry for more. Apres to dinner, Montanya Rum Distillery is a great place to kick back and relax with friends and a craft rum cocktail.
