A few hundred people in Pittsburgh welcomed the new year at Seven Springs in their famous Foggy Goggle. Seven Springs had a few of its photographers on the scene to document the festivities and we got our hands on some of the less-than-website-worthy photos. Without further adieu, here is a game we call the Foggy Goggle’s Most Likely.
And don’t forget January is learn to ski and snowboard month, so if you’ve never been on snow before and want to give it a try, this is the time to do so. There are plenty of money-saving deals out there, so have that winter-loving friend bring you to the slopes so you can be reintroduced to winter the right way.
For this production, I visited three resorts – Camelback Mountain Resort in the Poconos, Seven Springs Resort just outside of Pittsburgh, and Killington Resort in Vermont. Each resort excels in the art of teaching people how to ski and snowboard. In fact, Camelback was nationally awarded for being one of the best places to learn to ski and ride. I wandered around their beginner areas and was instantly fixated on the different and varying emotions their faces expressed. Excitement, pride, self deprecation, nervousness, confidence, accomplishment, and triumph. It was awesome being able to capture these emotions, especially as part of the Learn A Snow Sport campaign to foster more engagement and social interaction among first-time skiers and snowboarders.
P.S. Those that submit their #FirstDayFaces before Feb. 24th are entered to win a trip to Utah. I think I speak for everyone when I say… “Let’s take a selfie.”
